February where are you?

It is February 2014. I repeat it is February 2014. And all I can think it it can’t be. The weather is so nice.

My winter jacket – well the fleece part is out. I am migrating to my spring clothes. Not because of a longing for some sunshine or spring. No really because both are here. I am seriously considering changing over the winter and summer clothes already. It is still February!

Today we had temperatures of 13-14 degrees! Walking home was complete bliss. My skirts are being worn again and sweatshirts really are too warm during the day. Temperatures at night still drop to about 5-ish, but still. Walking to work and to home is pure bliss.

Just hope that this will continue a bit, if only because nature is waking up and it would be a great loss there if we’d have a big freeze all of a sudden. I guess last year I got the winter weather I love to the fullest, so I am not greedy. Passing up on a real winter this year and an early spring sounds fine to me. But having said that; I can’t believe it is only February when I walk home.

How nice! It’s cold here, after a brief warm-up, but I’m sure spring will arrive soon. :)
