Swim, swim, swim

Some of you know that I swim. Aquarobics yes but also lanes.
I had been doing a steady 1,000m for some time When I got it into my head that i wanted to be able to swim 2,000 before I left NZ.
I devised a training plan and went ahead Before Christmas I managed 1,900m Not bad.
After I returned from the Netherlands on the 21st I conquered the full 2,000m
This weekend I made it to 2,500m Yes 100 lanes in the pool
I was seriously feeling tired afterwards. Takes me one hour and 45 minutes to do so but still I get there.
Now I have my goal set on 3,000m before I leave (taking that as 2 March, as that is when the holiday starts).
My current schedule says I will make that on the 17 of Feb. I think I will. Wanna bet?

Wow! That´s so cool how you set goals and meet them. It is not in everybodys personality to be able to keep at something over time. Swim on, Girl, I bet you can do it!

Awesome, G!!! Do you do breaststroke or freestyle?
I miss the pool at H&S, it seems there was always a free lane there – in Copenhagen we have like 5 public pools for 1 million people – it gets REALLY crowded!

No do combination of breast stroke, kickboard kicking and jogging. If I just do one I end up with cramp. Also I want to focus on my legs with swimming My arms are strong enough 🙂
