Last day

All good things come to an end. Our holiday is drawing to a near.An easy day sleeping in one more time and preparing for our trip back tomorrow. Packing, sorting and buying. It is amazing how much stuff you throw around a little cottage in just two weeks time.As we go through it it goes back from our home away from home to that rented cottage that we entered at the start of our holiday.

We took to a few shops that we have discovered and bought some more nice stuff to take home. Just because we can and because there is interesting stuff around.

Our list (including earlier purchases):

Plus of course some boring stuff for on the road, bread, apples etc. As said maybe the restaurants have not always been what we had hoped to be, the products we have found have been great to eat, so we are not terribly disappointed.

Our souvenirs are really a cupper pan from Villedieu and a mug from Mont St Michel. And of course a fair few pictures.

About Gilraen

My blog is simply about my life. I moved countries for the first time in 1993. I lived in the Netherlands, UK and NZ. The initial idea was to keep my overseas friends up-to-date with what was going on in my life. The blog, like me, is always changing and evolving.

I loved reading about your holiday. Knowing most places you went to and hearing how much you enjoyed yourselves made it so easy to follow in your footsteps.

You’re welcome. Do you know Livarot? Had to think of you guys when I was there and, like me, would have lots of comments but also totally enjoy it.
