Need a roof

Because we had no idea on how we would feel after the Great Glen Walk we had not organized anything, bar our flight back in a few days.

This meant that our first priority that morning was finding a roof over our heads. We’d decided to base ourselves in Inverness. This proved a bit of a mission. See we had completely overlooked Home coming Scotland and all events that are associated with it. SO and I spent a significant amount of time at visit Scotland but in the end we found something. Two nights In a hotel and three in a B&B. Next we organized the car and we just lounged around from there. Wandering through town, sat in a cafe wasting time, not
walking. We had some dinner near the river and in the evening we met up,with Jacqueline and her friend. Jacqueline runs another blog and we met up two years ago as well. A lovely day of rest and a strange birthday it was

About Gilraen

My blog is simply about my life. I moved countries for the first time in 1993. I lived in the Netherlands, UK and NZ. The initial idea was to keep my overseas friends up-to-date with what was going on in my life. The blog, like me, is always changing and evolving.
