Southbound

Sometimes things happen in your life that mean that other things are possible. Totally unexpected things, but nice.

One of these thing happened to be started last year, when it was announced that my work was to send me to an international meeting in Sydney Australia. Oh wow I hear you all think, well that was sort of my thought too. And the next one; too close to NZ to miss.

So there it is Sydney here I am. I am to spend just over a week there for work. Not all Dutchies to this meeting are in the same hotel but we’re all in a radius of 10 minutes walk. This should be good.

I arrived late in the evening and with a number of people that I work with. We also caught up with another one that had arrived early. Just some drinks and then off to bed.

About Gilraen

My blog is simply about my life. I moved countries for the first time in 1993. I lived in the Netherlands, UK and NZ. The initial idea was to keep my overseas friends up-to-date with what was going on in my life. The blog, like me, is always changing and evolving.
