Two years ago we were in Scotland on a holiday. There we visited Shilasdair on the isle of Skye. I did buy some yarn there and it took me a while to decide what to do with it.
For Christmas we exchanged presents. My MIL surprised both my SIL and myself with a wool purchase for a hat and scarf. The quality of the wool was very good. Very nice stuff indeed.
Back in March I purchased some wool and I have finished the project but boy it was hard at times
As is known I knit, as do some of my friends. It has much in common with sewing and it is also different, the people are also kinda different and still the same.
As mentioned in my previous post the reason was our wedding anniversary. But t was not a case of just going to Beluga. We wanted to make it a mini holiday and it worked.

Just in case anybody wondered; SO and I are tired and it was showing this weekend. Thank heavens that christmas is during the week this year as it meant that we could do all the christmas stuff reasonably leisurely.
